Summer Opportunity with School-Year Potential

FYZICAL Bedford is a fast-growing clinic with scores of 5-star reviews and plans for continued growth, including a potential second location. This internship is designed for students who want exposure not only to patient care—but also to the business, operations, marketing, and patient experience side of physical therapy.

You’ll work closely with the clinic owner and clinical director, contributing to real work across the clinic and gaining exposure to decisions that shape patient experience, growth, and clinic operations.

This is not a shadowing role. You’ll contribute, take ownership, and learn.

Summer Schedule

Starting immediately depending on school schedule

• Approximately 20 hours per week
• Opportunity for additional hours based on interest, availability, and clinic needs
• Some schedule flexibility available

Preferred availability includes:

• Tuesday & Thursday evenings
• Availability for occasional Saturday mornings later in the summer
• Some marketing work may be completed independently

What You’ll Do

Front Desk & Patient Experience

• Welcome patients and support front desk operations
• Assist with scheduling, phones, and patient communication
• Help create an exceptional patient experience

Marketing & Growth

• Create Canva-based social media and marketing content (required)
• Help coordinate patient testimonials and digital content
• Support growth initiatives and special projects
• Assist as we plan and prepare for future clinic expansion

Clinic & PT Exposure

• Support therapists with clinic preparation and patient flow
• Assist with treatment area readiness and clinic organization
• Gain exposure to day-to-day PT clinic operations and patient care workflow

Business & Operations

• Learn how a PT clinic operates behind the scenes
• Gain exposure to scheduling, referrals, insurance, patient experience, and clinic growth

Requirements

• Experience creating content using Canva or similar tools (required)
• Friendly, organized, reliable, and comfortable interacting with patients
• Curious, proactive, and interested in learning the business side of healthcare
• Candidates from Bedford and neighboring communities encouraged to apply

• Undergraduate pursuing Physical Therapy, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health Sciences, or related field
  (Current DPT students seeking a summer opportunity are also encouraged to apply.)
