Why This Role Is Worth a Closer Look
This isn’t a stopgap front-desk job. We’re hiring for the long arc.
If you’re the right person, the role grows with you - part-time hours can expand to full-time, and the scope can extend into marketing the clinic, building community partnerships, and shaping how patients first experience FYZICAL Lawrenceville-Sugarloaf. You’ll work alongside a clinical team that takes patient care seriously and treats the front office as a true partner, not an afterthought.
If you’re looking for a place where your warmth, organization, and bilingual skills genuinely change patients’ outcomes and where doing the work well opens real doors… we’d love to meet you.

The first voice on the phone is often the most important part of a patient’s care.

Responsibilities

You will set the tone for every patient’s experience - from the first phone call to the moment they walk back out the door. The work is part operations, part hospitality, and part advocacy. Day to day, you’ll:
  • Own patient records and scheduling inside our state-of-the-art physical therapy EMR — the system that keeps every patient’s care moving smoothly
  • Coordinate benefits verification with our billing partner and translate the results into plain, reassuring language so patients know exactly what to expect financially — no surprises, no confusion
  • Check in with patients between sessions, especially those navigating emotional or motivational hurdles, to keep them engaged in their therapy journey and rooting for their own progress
  • Champion the clinic in every conversation with referrers, prospective patients, and the community so the people who need us most actually find us
  • Orchestrate the daily schedule with care, balancing patient needs and therapist capacity so the calendar runs like clockwork without ever feeling rushed
  • Handle post-session payments and patient financials with accuracy, discretion, and the kind of warmth that turns a billing conversation into a trust-building moment
  • Lead wellness check-ins with a compassionate, human-first approach, listening for how patients are really doing, not just whether their appointment was on time

Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Great communicator and multitasker, detail-oriented
  • Positive attitude, good work ethic, integrity and empathetic toward people that are in pain
  • H.S. graduate or GED certificate
  • Up-to-date DL and a dependable vehicle
  • Excellent at handling details, communicating and multitasking
  • Great demeanor, strong integrity and compassion
