Become a vital part of the FYZICAL family as a Consumer Care Specialist (CCS), also known as a Medical Receptionist, in our clinics! We’re seeking a confident, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and proactive team member to deliver exceptional patient experiences. Our ideal CCS candidate should be comfortable coordinating our patient’s specialized treatment appointments, verifying, and explaining insurance benefits, answering phones and emails, and collecting and explaining financials.

Responsibilities

  • Greet new and returning patients, creating a warm and professional atmosphere.

  • Manage patient intake, including collecting demographics, insurance details, and medical history.

  • Verify insurance benefits and secure authorizations for treatment.

  • Coordinate patient evaluations and follow-up appointments with the clinical team.

  • Provide clear financial estimates and collect payments, including fees for no-shows or cancellations.

  • Handle phone calls, emails, and faxes, while maintaining accurate patient records and administrative reports.

  • Support smooth clinic operations and maintain a clean, organized front office.

  • Meet key performance goals, such as referral conversions, payment collections, and appointment volume.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 6+ months of experience in customer service, front desk, or administrative roles (healthcare experience preferred but not required).

  • Friendly, professional communication and meticulous attention to detail.

  • Comfort with digital tools, including basic computer skills; familiarity with EMR systems, Microsoft Office, or insurance verification is a plus.

  • 2+ years in a medical office setting is a bonus but not mandatory.

  • Passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences and working as part of a team.

  • Fluency in Spanish is an asset.
