Responsibilities

  • Use Electronic Medical Records to reconcile insurance company payments
  • AR/Medical Billing management
  • Verify insurance benefits
  • Contact insurance companies to dispute icorrect payments
  • Obtain prior authorization for PT/OT services
  • Worker’s Comp/auto claims form printing
  • Post insurance payments using paper and electronic methods (EMR)
  • Manage Accounts Receivable and medical billing 

Skills & Qualifications

  • H.S. graduate or GED certificate
  • 1+ year(s) of Medical Accounts Receivable/Medical Billing experience
  • Able to successfully maneuver online insurance sites
  • Advanced Electronic Medical Records skills
  • Prior experience with insurance benefits, authorizations, and/or explanation of payments
  • Great communicator; friendly personality
  • Explanation of Benefits experience a plus
  • Must project a warm, enthusiastic and friendly demeanor in client and team member interactions

Responsibilities

  • Help the PT in all aspects of patient care
  • Under the guidance of the PT, perform therapy techniques/exercises
  • Measure and track patient progress, informing PT of all changes
  • Provide patients with needed continued care information
  • Assist the Physical Therapist in patient handling, treatment, and management
  • Carry out techniques and exercises prescribed by Physical Therapist
  • Keep Physical Therapist up-to-date on changes in patient progress
  • Help measure and track intervention effectiveness
  • Educate the patient on continuing care

Skills & Qualifications
