Responsibilities

· Perform new-patient evaluations/exams
· Generate plan of care to address activity limitations
· Establish specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, time-based goals
· Provide education to patients on prognosis, home exercise programs, and self-management techniques to address functional limitations
· Communicate effectively with patients, providers and staff
· Implement evidence- based practice guidelines in patient care
· Measure and track patient outcomes and intervention effectiveness
· Prompt and accurate completion of documentation
· Demonstrate physical therapist practice core values of accountability, altruism, compassion/caring, excellence, integrity, professional duty and social responsibility

Skills & Qualifications

· Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program
· Current North Carolina Physical Therapy license
· Competence to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
· Passionate about helping patients who have vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall risk issues
· Ability to evaluate, carry out, and progress a skilled treatment plan in outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation setting
· Imperative to be self-motivated with a willingness to learn
· Completion of FYZICAL’s Balance Level I online curriculum by first week prior to your first day in clinical care
· Open to new grads and experienced therapists
· Collaborative, team-oriented mindset fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
