Blue Water Ear, Nose, and Throat (partnered with FYZICAL® Dizziness and Fall Prevention Centers) is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist for our office located at the Outer Banks in Nags Head, NC. Our office specializes in dizziness and balance issues, but sees patients for a wide range of problems. The right candidate for this position should be able to work independently and as part of our team; we work together to make sure our clients get all the help they need; outside testing or other specialty referrals can easily be sourced by our on-site physician.
In our 500 sq ft gym and private treatment room setting, the Physical Therapist will provide physical therapy services to a variety of patients by using our state of the art equipment (e.g., dynamic postureography system) to help with assessments and treatments.

Responsibilities
Various disorders of the inner ear, central and peripheral nervous systems, eyes, spinal muscles, and feet (which all function together to maintain one’s sense of stability) may be involved individually or in combination. The services Blue Water Ear, Nose, and Throat provide are not readily available in the region and are unique in an ENT office where the treating physician oversees a patients’ progress. Treatment plans are designed by the Physical Therapist. Blue Water ENT is very passionate about caring for patients with dizziness. Our desire is for patients’ to get back to work, to the beach, on a boat, or whatever it is to enjoy and Love their Life!

Skills & Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Ability to provide instructions and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrate compassion and encouragement to patients experiencing pain and frustration
- Provide continuous positivity and provide motivation with patients
- Have the capability to remain flexible, adaptable, and calm in unexpected situations
- Ability to objectively assess situations or circumstances
- Capable of defining and determining a problem; taking initiatives to find solutions. Must possess critical thinking abilities
Position Requirements
- BS, MS, or DPT in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- Current Physical Therapy license in the state of North Carolina
- 2 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist preferred
- Experience working in an outpatient setting preferred
- Vestibular Therapy experience is a plus
