FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Cliffside Park, NJ is seeking dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapists to join our team of professionals in Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN roles. Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform new-patient evaluations/exams
  • Diagnose patients; evaluate physical activity limitations
  • Create a plan that sets a goal and completion date
  • Equip patients with PT intervention techniques/exercises, track progress
  • Provide education to patients on techniques for the continuation of care
  • Examine and evaluate new patients
  • Establish a diagnosis of condition or conditions and their impact on activity
  • Prescribe intervention techniques and exercises
  • Measure and track intervention effectiveness
  • Educate the patient on continuing care
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

Successful Candidates Will Have

  • DPT from an accredited program
  • Current New Jersey state PT license
  • Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
  • Must have self-motivation with a willingness to learn and treat all physical therapy modalities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Spanish speaking is preferred but not required
  •  1+ years of experience in the field is preferred, but we will consider exceptional new graduates

The position involves various important clerical roles at our reception desk including phone services, client registration, scheduling and payment collection. Candidates must have exceptional interpersonal skills, a solution-oriented mentality and a desire for ongoing growth.  We are looking for a candidate who reacts well under pressure; can multi-task, is detail-oriented, and treats others with respect and consideration. Computer Skills to perform this job successfully include knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.  Prior experience with Electronic Medical Records systems is a plus.
