FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Cliffside Park, NJ is seeking dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapists to join our team of professionals in Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN roles. We value the best possible client outcomes and believe strongly in the power of personalized care with average daily clinician schedules of 12 patients. Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Perform new-patient evaluations/exams
- Diagnose patients; evaluate physical activity limitations
- Create a plan that sets a goal and completion date
- Equip patients with PT intervention techniques/exercises, track progress
- Provide education to patients on techniques for the continuation of care
- Examine and evaluate new patients
- Establish a diagnosis of condition or conditions and their impact on activity
- Prescribe intervention techniques and exercises
- Measure and track intervention effectiveness
- Educate the patient on continuing care
- Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
Successful Candidates Will Have
- DPT from an accredited program
- Current New Jersey state PT license
- Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
- Must have self-motivation with a willingness to learn and treat all physical therapy modalities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Spanish speaking is preferred but not required
- 1+ years of experience in the field is preferred, but we will consider exceptional new graduates
