FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers – Fort Lee is a specialty outpatient physical therapy clinic in Bergen County, NJ. We focus on balance & vestibular rehabilitation, fall prevention, neurological & post-surgical care, and Class IV laser therapy — all delivered strictly one-on-one. Love Your Life™.

THE ROLE

We are adding a physical therapist.

This is a specialty practice, not a general outpatient clinic with a vestibular room in the back. Balance & vestibular rehabilitation is the center of what we do and where most of our referrals come from — so the person who joins us will build genuine depth in it rather than treating it as an occasional case type.

Patients are seen one-on-one. The practice is owner-operated by a non-clinician, which means clinical judgment rests with the treating clinician rather than with a corporate visit target imposed from elsewhere.

WHO THIS ROLE FITS

We are open to two very different candidates, and we mean both:

If you are a new or recent DPT graduate — we have put a structured first year in writing, because “we’ll support you” is easy to say and hard to prove:

  • Protected weekly one-on-one mentorship with an experienced treating clinician — co-treats and guided case reviews through your first 90 days

  • A caseload that ramps deliberately over your first eight weeks — one-on-one sessions, no double-booking

  • A vestibular & balance specialty track from year one

  • Funded continuing education toward your first certifications, plus FYZICAL’s national continuing-education curriculum in balance & vestibular, orthopedics, and pelvic health, including access to FYZICAL’s National Directors of Education

  • If you are an experienced clinician — particularly one who is tired of volume-driven scheduling — the draw is different, and simpler: a specialty caseload you can actually go deep in, one-on-one patient care as the model rather than the exception, and an owner who does not override clinical judgment. If you hold vestibular, orthopedic, or neurologic credentials, they will be used here rather than parked.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Genuine interest in balance, vestibular, and neurological specialty work

  • NJ physical therapy license — held, eligible, or in process

  • A preference for one-on-one patient care

  • Someone looking for a long-term home, not a stepping stone

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

  • Start: Flexible for the right candidate

  • Compensation: $48+/hour based on experience, plus CEU support

FYZICAL Fort Lee is looking for a full-time CLINICAL DIRECTOR/PHYSICAL THERAPIST.
The Clinical Director directs all aspects of clinical operations. This position will oversee clinical governance, activities, and patient care services. This governance requires staff supervision and training while planning and managing all patient care. In addition to maintaining an active patient load, the Director will be a staff leader and direct physical therapy services by developing strategic objectives to manage the clinic’s effectiveness and productivity.
Duties and responsibilities include growing our clinic while reinforcing our culture. This will be accomplished through a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to patients and clinic staff.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations to identify patient needs and establish treatment goals.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans to help patients achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families about the recovery process and promote healthy habits.
  • Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure top-quality care.
  • Provide analytical and organizational oversight for the facility.
  • Deliver workshops/lectures and training on physical therapy and related topics for in-house staff and external groups.
