Responsibilities

  • Manage patient scheduling, including evaluations, re-evaluations, and appointment reminders, ensuring seamless communication between patients and clinicians.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries, offering excellent customer service and acting as a liaison between patients, physicians, and the clinic.
  • Maintain accurate patient records by gathering new patient data, tracking referrals, and completing intake information.
  • Verify insurance coverage, track visits, and handle copayments with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with physicians and clinicians by sending reports, faxing necessary documentation, and keeping detailed logs of all communications.
  • Facilitate clear and timely communication with the office manager and clinicians regarding patient scheduling and arrival times.
  • Manage a multi-line phone system, ensuring calls are answered promptly and routed to the appropriate team member.
  • Process and distribute mail, including Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), and communicate with billing companies for benefits paperwork and insurance verification.
  • Ensure patients feel welcome and informed from check-in to check-out, providing guidance on payments and answering any questions they may have.
  • Handle administrative duties such as collecting mail, distributing reports, and keeping accurate logs of all relevant communications.

We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented medical sales professional with a proven track record in outside sales to help us grow our referral base and enhance our community presence in Oklahoma City.

This position combines sales, marketing, and public relations to drive patient referrals and build strong relationships with local physicians and healthcare providers. You will serve as the face of our clinic, promoting our services, strengthening our reputation, and managing a designated territory of medical practices.

The Physician Liaison is critical for the success of a clinic. The Liaison not only strives to increase patient referrals, and to strengthen relationships with providers and their staff, but as a community-facing representative provides prospective patients and the community with a first impression of our brand. The Liaison is essentially the bridge between our clinic and the referring offices and our broader community.

Responsibilities

  • Leads initiatives to build volume and favorable provider perceptions among internal and external referral streams.
  • Develops and implements specific outreach, relationship building and marketing plans to meet goals.
  • Must exhibit excellent time management skills, organization and communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Facilitating marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to use certain templates and programs for tracking and leads management.
  • Develops strong business relationships with local community organizations and businesses.
  • Works collaboratively with other system functions that interact with physician offices, including hospital medical affairs, outbound referral systems, provider recruitment, and provider resources.
  • Establishes and maintains ongoing communications with referring providers and/or their office staff, including routine or follow-up visits, emails and phone calls.
  • Uses research-based methods and implements strategies to build awareness and trust.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications, Business Administration or Healthcare preferred. (Experience working in a sales or marketing position may be substituted in lieu of education)  
  • Outside sales experience preferred
  • Healthcare sales experience preferred
  • Effective territory manager, willing to travel within assigned territory
  • Must provide own vehicle, however mileage reimbursement will be covered
