We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support our work with individuals experiencing dizziness, balance disorders, neuropathy, post-stroke deficits, Parkinson’s disease, chronic pain, and more.
Position Summary
As a PTA on our neuro and vestibular rehabilitation team, you will work closely with physical therapists to implement customized treatment plans that improve balance, reduce dizziness, manage chronic pain, and restore function. You’ll play a key role in helping patients move safely and confidently through recovery.

Responsibilities
-
Deliver therapeutic exercises and manual therapy to address balance, coordination, strength, and pain
-
Support treatment for vestibular dysfunction (e.g., BPPV, vestibular hypofunction)

Assist in gait training, neuromuscular re-education, and posture correction

Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment interventions

Educate patients and caregivers on at-home exercises and self-management techniques

Maintain a safe and calming treatment environment for neurologically sensitive patients
Skills & Qualifications

Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program

Valid PTA license (or eligibility) in PA

Experience or interest in treating neurological, vestibular, or chronic pain conditions

CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Strong observational, communication, and patient care skills
-
Compassionate, team-oriented, and detail-focused approach
Preferred (not required):
- Prior experience in neuro rehab, vestibular therapy, or fall prevention programs

Familiarity with outcome measures like the Berg Balance Scale, DGI, or FGA
-
Knowledge of modalities used in chronic pain management
