Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, MS, BPPV, vestibular hypofunction, post-concussion syndrome, fall risk, and orthopedic injuries

Develop individualized care plans using evidence-based practices and measurable goals

Implement therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, gait training, neuromuscular re-education, and vestibular interventions (specialized training provided)

Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management strategies

Document treatment progress, outcomes, and modifications in a timely and accurate manner

Collaborate with referring physicians, PTAs, and other rehab team members to optimize patient care

Participate in fall prevention programs, vestibular screenings, or wellness workshops as needed
Skills & Qualifications
- Accredited PT program graduate
- Up-to-date Pennsylvania PT license
- Able to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation-setting treatment plans
- Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
- Must be passionate about helping patients who have vestibular, balance, neurological, orthopedic, and fall risk issues
- 2+ year(s) of outpatient neuro/ortho center or vestibular rehab experience
- Must be able to carry out and progress a skilled treatment plan in outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation setting
- Must be self-motivated with a willingness to learn
