Why You’ll Love This Job

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers – Bryan is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join a growing outpatient clinic focused on high-quality care, structured operations, and long-term clinician development.

This is not a high-volume clinic. We prioritize controlled patient schedules, efficient workflows, and strong patient outcomes.

Typical daily volume is 11–12 patients (8-hour shift) and 14–16 patients (10-hour shift) after cancellations. Scheduling is designed to maintain a steady, manageable workflow, and clinicians have input on patient acuity and scheduling decisions—we do not rely on rigid double-booking.

We offer flexible scheduling options, including 4-day workweeks (10-hour shifts), hybrid schedules with half-day Fridays, and traditional 5-day schedules.

All clinicians receive a 1-month onboarding ramp with reduced productivity expectations, along with ongoing opportunities to develop skills in orthopedic and vestibular care.

Documentation & Workflow
We utilize Prompt EMR, designed to allow clinicians to complete documentation during the workday, not after hours.

  • Structured templates support real-time documentation during patient care
  • Most clinicians finish notes during the day or before leaving
  • Goal: little to no take-home documentation once up to speed

What you can expect:

  • Health insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield with employer contribution
  • 3.5% 401(k) match
  • $1,000 annual continuing education support
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Optional additional hours and Saturday shifts for increased earnings
  • Many clinicians earn ~15% above base salary

Clinicians also have the opportunity to develop a clinical niche or specialty, with support for growth in areas such as vestibular or pelvic health.

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations for outpatient orthopedic and vestibular patients
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care
  • Provide hands-on treatment and therapeutic exercise
  • Progress patients appropriately and manage plan of care adherence
  • Complete timely documentation, progress notes, and discharge summaries
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding goals, progress, and expectations
  • Coordinate with front office staff to support efficient scheduling and patient flow
  • Maintain a professional, organized treatment environment
  • Participate in team collaboration and clinic operations

Skills & Qualifications

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas
  • Strong clinical reasoning and patient care skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain an efficient, organized workflow
  • Comfortable working in a structured, accountable clinical environment
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a defined system of care
