Responsibilities

    •  High degree of personal integrity Greet and welcome patients as they enter the clinic to create a great first impression
    •   Confirm patient scheduling. appointments. reminders. cancellations (via phone. e-mail, etc.)
    •   Manage Tront office duties, including answering phones. checking office mail and email, communicating with
        patients and insurance companies
    •  Disseminate information to patients and act as a go-between for patients, FYZICAL clinical staff, and
        referring physicians.
    •   File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims, verification of benefits and explanation of
       Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients
    •  Collect and manage all payments, insurance verification,explanation of benefits communication.
    •  Maintain knowledge of various insurance plans and networks
    •  Utilize WebPT for patient scheduling and records.
    •  Fax reports to physicians and keep a log of incoming reports.    
    •  Communicate with management and clinicians about scheduling/patient arrival

Skills & Qualifications

  • Authorization to work in the U.S. required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Miminum 1 year of medical office experience
  • Great communicator and multitasker, detail-oriented
  • Positive attitude, good work ethic, integrity and, empathetic toward people that are in pain
  • Excellent at handling details, communicating and, multitasking

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the physical therapists and physical therapist assistants in the care of patients.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care services.
  • Clean, organize work area and disinfect equipment after treatment.
  • Administer passive therapeutic exercises and modality treatments, such as ultrasound.
  • Instruct, motivate, safeguard, and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities, under direction of medical staff.
  • Ensure clients are being seen in a timely manner with no backlogs
  • Provide supervised assistance to patients
  • Some admin and office tasks
  • Assist the therapist in administering patient care
  • Maintain a smooth flow of patients through the clinic and gym
  • With supervision, set up patients on modalities; assist with their exercise programs

  • Perform some laundry duties

Skills & Qualifications

Required skills & qualifications:

  • H.S. graduate or GED
  • Familiarity with inpatient care settings is beneficial but not required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff

Responsibilities

  • Perform new-patient evaluations/exams; assess physical activity limitations; diagnose patients.
  • Plan, prepare and administer skilled physical therapy treatment plans in accordance with physician orders, referrals, prescriptions, current standards of care, and by assessing and interpreting evaluations, records, and test results of patients.
  • Measure and track treatment effectiveness.
  • Educate patients and encourage continuation of home exercise programs that improve the patient’s overall health.
  • Provide patient care and related activities, in accordance with skill level and deemed appropriate by the Texas State Code of Laws and other governing entities such as Medicare.
  • Utilize timely patient flow in accordance with scheduled appointment times.
  • Promptly and thoroughly document and maintain clinical and administrative records, including but not limited to, daily notes, weekly reports, initial evaluations, treatment progress and responses, and discharge summaries.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient personal health information in accordance with HIPAA compliance.
  • Adhere to company’s guidelines for billing of clinical and non-clinical services.
  • Adhere to the clinic mission, policies, standards, and goals.
  • Participate in educational workshops and presentations for community education and referral sources.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited PT program and current PT license in TX 
  • Able to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation-setting treatment plans
  • Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment 
  • 1+ year(s) of outpatient neuro/ortho center or vestibular rehab experience  
  • Must be self-motivated with a willingness to learn
  • Passion for working with vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall-risk patient population
  • Prefer at least one year working in outpatient neurological or orthopedic center, or previous vestibular rehab experience
