Position Overview:We are seeking a passionate and experienced Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in children. This role requires a compassionate approach and a commitment to creating customized therapy plans that meet the individual needs of each child and their family.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient's unique needs.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions that engage and motivate children.
  • Educate and collaborate with family members and caregivers to support the child's therapy goals at home.
  • Keep detailed records of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Stay current with the latest research and advancements in pediatric speech and language pathology.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to patient care.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). (Preferred, but strong CF candidates will be considered) 
  • Experience working with pediatric patients across a broad age range (birth-21 years) with various communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language development and disorders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with children and their families.
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments and using therapeutic technology and tools.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning.
