Job Summary
As a physical therapist at FYZICAL, you get to work 1:1 with patients! Under the direction of the Clinical Director, you’ll be responsible for the patient's plans and administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint and bone diseases, to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability by performing the duties and responsibilities listed below. To succeed in this role, you should possess time management and mentoring skills. Additionally, you must have excellent interpersonal skills as you evaluate and treat patients as well as work within a team setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, evaluate, administer, and record the effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit, document all company notes, reports, and summaries
Keep timely documentation including but not limited to daily notes, weekly reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries as well as track and report treatment progress; adjust as necessary
Ensure smooth and timely patient flow
Monitor compliance with legal guidelines, internal policies, and quality standards
Lead a team and oversee all Physical Therapy Assistant, Rehab Technician, and student job assignments/activities; verify receptionist (Client Care Specialist) is performing their duties
Determine necessary PT based on prescriptions/referrals/patient condition/records
After reviewing patient records, strategize, create, and carry out treatment plans
Ensure patients are treated promptly in accordance with their scheduled appointments
Review physician’s referral (prescription), and patient’s condition/medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
Devise strategies and plans for the clinic according to company standards for excellent service & growth
Understand business implications of decisions; demonstrate knowledge of market and competition; align work with strategic goals

Qualifications:

Current Idaho state licensing and all other state-required documentation (or ability to acquire)
Master of Physical Therapy Degree (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree (DPT)
Experience in outpatient clinics, special certifications (OCS, CSCS, etc.) are welcome, and familiar with electronic medical record (EMR) system
Pelvic Therapy & Aquatic Therapy a plus!
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
Solid understanding of resourcing, and performance evaluation procedures or willingness to learn
Proficient in MS Office and computer systems (e.g., patient management software, Microsoft Office, Google workspace, Zoom)
