Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Manage front desk operations including check-in, check-out, and scheduling
  • Verify patient information, insurance details, and referrals
  • Coordinate appointments with therapists and clinical staff
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries professionally
  • Maintain accurate patient records and clinic documentation
  • Support billing, authorizations, and insurance follow-ups as needed
  • Ensure compliance with clinic policies, HIPAA, and operational procedures
  • Coordinate daily clinic workflow and communicate issues proactively
  • Handle clinic keys, office access, and administrative handovers when required

Skills & Qualifications

  • Required Qualifications (Must-Have)
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in an Admin / Front Desk role within a Physical Therapy clinic
    • Must be located in Brooklyn, NY or able to commute daily
    • Strong understanding of PT clinic workflows, scheduling, and patient flow
    • Experience with healthcare administrative systems, EMR, and scheduling tools
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
