Compensation will be based on your experience level, with bonus opportunities based on performance metrics. You will be expected to see an average patient load of 12 patients per day. These courses can be done virtually, but in-person options are also available!  You will be expected to have completed our Balance Level 1 certification prior to starting work on your first day so you will feel competent to treat one of our most vulnerable populations. Other balance and vestibular certifications will be made available and you will be expected to participate in regular continued education through Fyzical to be on top of your game! While many of these certifications provide CEUs, there are also many shorter courses through the unique FYZICAL College to continue your education.

  • Under the guidance of the OT, perform therapy techniques/exercises
  • Measure and track patient progress, informing OT of all changes
  • Provide patients with needed continued care information
  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in patient handling, treatment, and management
  • Carry out techniques and exercises prescribed by Occupational Therapist
  • Keep Occupational Therapist up-to-date on changes in patient progress
  • Help measure and track intervention effectiveness
  • Educate the patient on continuing care

Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate of an Occupational Therapist Assistant program (accredited)
  • Up-to-date Occupational Therapist Assistant license
  • Graduation from an accredited OTA program
  • Current OTA licensure
