Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
  • Provide patient care across orthopedic, vestibular, neurologic, and geriatric populations, with sessions that prioritize one-on-one attention
  • Incorporate advanced tools such as our overhead safety system, vestibular goggles, and Normatec Recovery to help patients safely achieve more in therapy
  • Document efficiently with Prompt EMR and AI-driven tools, freeing you to focus on patient care
  • Educate patients and families for long-term independence and fall prevention
  • Collaborate with PTs, PTAs, and staff to deliver excellent patient experiences
  • Participate in community outreach, including fall-prevention and wellness programs

Qualifications

  • Licensed (or license-eligible) Physical Therapist in Massachusetts

  • Graduate of an accredited PT program

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; empathetic and patient-centered

  • Outpatient experience preferred, but motivated new grads welcome

  • Interested in a case mix of 60% balance/vestibular, 40% orthopedic/musculoskeletal

As a Front Desk Assistant at FYZICAL Bedford, you’ll play an important role in creating an exceptional experience for our patients while helping our clinic run smoothly. Every day is different—you’ll assist with front desk responsibilities, support our therapists, help keep the clinic organized and welcoming, and occasionally assist with light physical therapy aide duties.

This is a flexible part-time position with opportunities for additional hours as needed. We welcome someone looking for long-term part-time work beyond the summer.

Approximately 15-25 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and provide a friendly, professional first impression
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with front desk operations
  • Help therapists with light physical therapy aide duties as appropriate
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment
  • Restock and organize clinic and office supplies
  • Support marketing, community outreach, and special projects as needed
  • Pitch in wherever needed to help our team provide an outstanding patient experience
