What You’ll Do

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
  • Provide patient care across orthopedic, vestibular, neurologic, and geriatric populations, with sessions that prioritize one-on-one attention
  • Incorporate advanced tools such as our overhead safety system, vestibular goggles, and Normatec Recovery to help patients safely achieve more in therapy
  • Document efficiently with Prompt EMR and AI-driven tools, freeing you to focus on patient care
  • Educate patients and families for long-term independence and fall prevention
  • Collaborate with PTs, PTAs, and staff to deliver excellent patient experiences
  • Participate in community outreach, including fall-prevention and wellness programs

Qualifications

  • Licensed (or license-eligible) Physical Therapist in Massachusetts

  • Graduate of an accredited PT program

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; empathetic and patient-centered

  • Outpatient experience preferred, but motivated new grads welcome

  • Passion for helping patients with balance, vestibular, neurological, and fall-risk issues

The Role

As our Medical Front Desk & Marketing Coordinator, you will often be the first and last point of contact for our patients, helping ensure every visit runs smoothly.

The primary focus of this role is medical front desk client care and clinic coordination—managing schedules, verifying insurance, helping patients understand coverage and payment responsibilities, and keeping clinic operations organized.

The role also supports clinic growth through marketing support and occasional follow-up with prospective patients who respond to our marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Client Care

  • Welcome patients and create a positive first impression

  • Manage scheduling, follow-ups, cancellations, and appointment coordination

  • Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries

  • Maintain accurate patient information and documentation in clinic systems

  • Track referrals, incoming reports, and communication from physicians and insurers

  • Confidently manage front desk operations during assigned shifts

Insurance & Financial Coordination

  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to visits

  • Explain coverage details, copayments, deductibles, and visit limits to patients

  • Collect copayments and manage patient payments at the time of service

  • Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients when needed

  • Coordinate with clinicians, insurers, and billing partners regarding claims, authorizations, and patient account questions

  • Maintain working knowledge of common insurance plans and networks

Marketing Support

  • Create Canva-based marketing materials

  • Coordinate patient video testimonials

  • Assist with social media posts and website updates

Patient Outreach (Occasional)

  • Follow up with prospective patients who respond to digital marketing campaigns and help guide them toward scheduling care

Clinic Support

  • Use web-based clinic systems and Google Workspace

  • Assist therapists when needed and help maintain an organized clinic environment
