Physical Therapist (PT) Job – Houston, TX 170123

Why You’ll Love This Job

Part-Time Physical Therapist — Tuesdays & Thursdays | Copperfield, Houston | $50–60/hr

Fyzical Therapy & Balance Center — Copperfield

The role at a glance
– Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch). 16 hours/week. No weekends, no on-call, no shuffling shifts.
– Compensation:** $50–60/hour, based on experience.
– Location: Copperfield, Houston, TX (single-location, owner-operated clinic). 8526 Highway 6 N Houston, TX 77095
– Start: June 2026

What you’ll do
On your two clinic days, you’ll be the PT in the building — evaluating new patients, designing their plans of care, and running follow-up visits independently. Our lead PT covers the other days of the week, and our PTAs handle the bulk of ongoing follow-up sessions, so your Tuesdays and Thursdays are focused squarely on the work that requires a PT: evaluations, plan design, and the patients who specifically need PT-level treatment.
The caseload is a true mix: ortho and musculoskeletal (back pain, joint issues, post-surgical rehab, sports injuries), with some balance/vestibular and neuro work folded in. You’ll see variety every shift — no two Tuesdays look alike.
This role is built for a PT who values autonomy. You’ll set your own pace on your days, with full ownership of your evaluations and clinical decisions.

Who we’re looking for
– Active Texas PT license, or license-eligible. New grads will be considered, but note that you’ll be the only PT in the clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays — confidence in independent evaluations and plan design matters.
– Comfortable with a mixed adult outpatient caseload — including some neuro and balance/vestibular cases alongside the ortho/MSK majority.
– Strong patient communication — every patient should leave their first visit knowing exactly what the plan is, how many visits it’ll take, and why it matters.
– Organized with documentation. We run on Prompt Health EMR — clean, fast, and not the documentation slog you might have experienced elsewhere.
– Self-directed and team-aware — you’ll work directly with our PTAs and front desk on your clinical days, and coordinate asynchronously with our lead PT (texts, EMR notes, weekly handoffs) on shared patients.

What we offer
– Predictable schedule. The same two days every week. No last-minute schedule changes, no scope creep, no “can you cover Friday?”
– Competitive part-time pay — $50–60/hr depending on experience. Paid bi-weekly.
– Real autonomy on your clinical days. You’re the PT in the building Tuesdays and Thursdays. Full ownership of your evaluations, plans of care, and clinical decisions — no one looking over your shoulder.
– A clear path to full-time. This role is structured as part-time today, but as our patient volume grows, we expect to expand clinical hours. The right person could grow into a full-time role here.
– CEU support. We cover continuing education that keeps your license current and your skills growing — yes, even for part-time clinicians.
– A clinic that actually works. 170+ five-star Google reviews. The highest-rated PT clinic in the Copperfield area. Modern equipment, clean facility, and a front desk that handles scheduling and intake so you can focus on patients.
– A team of clinicians, not a staffing pool. You’ll know everyone you work with, and they’ll know you.

About Fyzical Copperfield
We’re a single-location Fyzical Therapy & Balance Center franchise serving the Copperfield community. While we’re known locally for balance and vestibular care, our practice spans ortho/MSK, neuro, and personal injury — and we’re actively growing the ortho side. Our owner is invested in building a clinic where clinicians can do their best work without burning out: fair documentation expectations, reasonable caseloads, and a clear path to grow your role over time if you want it.

To apply
Send a resume and a brief note about why this role fits to aashir.aggarwal@fyzical.com or apply through this listing.
We respond to every applicant within 48 hours, and aim to schedule first interviews within one week.

*Texas PT license required. Equal opportunity employer.*
