Thunder Bay Fyzical Work Health is a division of Thunder Bay Fyzical Therapy dedicated to supporting local businesses and industry by promoting a safe and healthy workforce.

We are seeking a dependable and organized Work Health Customer Technician to serve as a key member of our program. This position plays an important role in coordinating services between employers, employees, and our clinical team to ensure workplace testing and compliance services run smoothly and efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, values organization and responsibility, and wants to play a meaningful role in supporting workplace health and safety in our community.

We will train you on the specific skills and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for employer accounts
  • Schedule workforce testing and occupational health services
  • Process completed tests and documentation
  • Maintain compliance with DOT Federal Motor Carrier regulations
  • OSHA hearing screens
  • Handle drug testing samples according to protocol
  • Coordinate scheduling for a multidisciplinary clinical team
  • Maintain ongoing communication with local businesses and industry partners
  • Manage billing and invoicing using QuickBooks
  • Communicate with insurance companies
  • Help keep daily operations organized and on schedule

Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong computer and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with the public and professional clients
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
  • Willingness to learn occupational health and regulatory requirements
