Responsibilities

• Answering phones
• Greeting patients and checking them in
• Managing the schedule for our physical therapists (including scheduling, cancelling, rescheduling, and balancing workload)
• Collecting payments from patients
• Creating and managing patient charts
• Requesting referrals/authorizations from medical offices
• Calling patients for scheduling or other purposes, as required
• Educating patients about our additional services and products and making sales
• Filing/scanning
• Assist therapists/clinic staff as needed.
• Other general office administration, housekeeping and marketing tasks as assigned

• Superb interpersonal skills—friendly, polite, ability to be enthusiastic about each patient’s care and progress toward treatment goals, ability to be empathetic with patients who may be irritable or difficult because of their pain or illness. 
• Strong organization skills—ability to multi-task, prioritize competing demands, keep track of tasks and required activities, and return to complete tasks when interrupted; self-motivation to make calls to fill the schedule during less busy times. 
• Unrivaled attention to detail
• Ability to address patient concerns in a professional manner and find solutions to difficulties that are impeding their care (training will be provided)

Schedule:

• Part-time (approximately 11 hours per week)
• Regular shifts are Fridays 8am-2pm and Saturday 9am-2pm.  Additional hours may be offered based on your availability to fill in for other staff absences. 

Pay:

• $12-$14 per hour, based on experience
