Key Responsibilities
• Assist in Patient Care: Help the Physical Therapist (PT) in all aspects of patient care, ensuring a high standard of treatment.
• Perform Therapy Techniques: Under PT guidance, execute therapy techniques and exercises tailored to individual patient needs.
• Track & Measure Progress: Accurately measure and track patient progress, keeping the PT updated on any changes.
• Patient Education: Educate patients on home exercises and the importance of continuing care to support their recovery journey.
• Support Treatment Management: Assist with patient handling, treatment, and management as prescribed by the PT, ensuring a smooth care experience.
What We’re Looking For
• Licensed PTA: Must hold an up-to-date Physical Therapist Assistant license in Florida.
• Educational Credentials: Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a PTA role is preferred.
• Exceptional Interpersonal Skills: Proven excellence in communication, professionalism, and customer relationship management is a must.

Responsibilities
- Help the PT in all aspects of patient care
- Under the guidance of the PT, perform therapy techniques/exercises
- Measure and track patient progress, informing PT of all changes
- Provide patients with needed continued care information
- Assist the Physical Therapist in patient handling, treatment, and management
- Carry out techniques and exercises prescribed by Physical Therapist
- Keep Physical Therapist up-to-date on changes in patient progress
- Help measure and track intervention effectiveness
- Educate the patient on continuing care
Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate of a Physical Therapist Assistant program (accredited)
- Up-to-date Physical Therapist Assistant license
