Physical Therapist (Outpatient Ortho & Balance)

FYZICAL Hackettstown – Hackettstown, NJ

Full-Time | 12 Patients Per Day | 40–60 Minute Sessions | No Double Booking

Independently owned outpatient physical therapy clinic seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for one-to-one care.

Position Overview

• Treat 12 patients per day, 5 days per week
• 40–60 minute treatment sessions
• No double booking
• Outpatient orthopedic and balance caseload

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
• Deliver therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, gait training, balance training, and post-surgical rehabilitation
• Treat vestibular and fall-risk patients (training available)
• Collaborate with on-staff Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Complete documentation during the workday – AI-assisted EMR tools provided
• Participate in occasional community outreach and referral relationship support

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary + productivity incentives
• Total compensation up to ~$100,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform new-patient evaluations/exams
  • Diagnose patients; evaluate physical activity limitations
  • Create a plan that sets a goal and a completion date
  • Equip patients with PT intervention techniques/exercises; track progress
  • Provide education to patients on techniques for the continuation of care
  • Examine and evaluate new patients
  • Establish a diagnosis of condition or conditions and their impact on activity
  • Establish a plan goal and time frame
  • Prescribe intervention techniques and exercises
  • Measure and track intervention effectiveness
  • Educate the patient on continuing care

Skills & Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent
• Active NJ Physical Therapist license (or PT Compact privileges)
• Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, therapeutic exercise, and rehabilitation protocols
• Efficient with EMR documentation systems - we use Prompt.
