We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Technician to join our dynamic team. The Rehab Tech will support therapists in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing physical, occupational, or speech therapy. Responsibilities:

• Assist therapists with the preparation and execution of patient treatment plans

• Prepare therapy areas and equipment for use, ensuring a clean and safe environment

• Transport patients to and from therapy sessions as needed

• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to licensed staff

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility protocols

• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and maintaining supplies

• Encourage and motivate patients during therapy sessions under therapist supervision

• Follow all safety procedures and infection control guidelines

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Previous experience in a rehab, healthcare, or fitness setting preferred

• Basic knowledge of therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation practices a plus

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient mobility

• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)

• Wipe down tables and equipment to ensure a clean and safe environment

Responsibilities

• Help physical therapist provide care to patients
• Ensure clients are being seen in a timely manner with no backlogs
• Provide supervised assistance to patients
• Sanitize rooms and equipment after each client
• Some admin and office tasks
• Assist the therapist in administering patient care
• Maintain a smooth flow of patients through the clinic and gym
• With supervision, set up patients on modalities; assist with their exercise programs
• Clean tables and equipment between patients
• Assist with clerical and administrative tasks as needed
• Perform some laundry duties

Skills & Qualifications

• H.S. graduate or GED
• Great communication/interpersonal skills

• Working toward a physical therapy or AT degree
• Knowledgeable of medical language
