VIEW Physical Therapist Assistant careersWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Technician to join our dynamic team. The Rehab Tech will support therapists in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing physical, occupational, or speech therapy. Responsibilities:
Assist therapists with the preparation and execution of patient treatment plans
Prepare therapy areas and equipment for use, ensuring a clean and safe environment
Transport patients to and from therapy sessions as needed
Observe and report patient responses to treatment to licensed staff
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility protocols
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and maintaining supplies
Encourage and motivate patients during therapy sessions under therapist supervision
Follow all safety procedures and infection control guidelines
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Previous experience in a rehab, healthcare, or fitness setting preferred
Basic knowledge of therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation practices a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient mobility
CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Wipe down tables and equipment to ensure a clean and safe environment
