Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth and timely patient flow
  • Determine necessary PT based on prescriptions/referrals/patient condition/records
  • After reviewing patient records, strategize, create and carry out treatment plans
  • Track and report treatment progress; adjust as necessary
  • Oversee all assistant, technician and student job assignments/activities (when necessary)
  • Keep timely documentation including but not limited to daily notes, weekly reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries
  • Plan and conduct lectures on PT and related training for in-house staff and community groups

Qualifications:

  • Connecticut Physical Therapy License
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Help physical therapist provide care to patients
  • Ensure clients are being seen in a timely manner with no backlogs
  • Provide supervised assistance to patients
  • Sanitize rooms after each client
  • Some admin and office tasks
  • Assist the therapist in administering patient care
  • Maintain a smooth flow of patients through the clinic and gym
  • With supervision, set up patients on modalities; assist with their exercise programs
  • Clean tables and equipment between patients
