Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient evaluations to assess physical abilities, pain levels, and functional limitations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on client goals, medical history, and evaluation findings.
  • Assign and supervise the Physical Therapy Assistant (not yet hired) in client care activities, as well as any assistant, technician, and student job assignments and activities.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to promote recovery and prevent further injury.
  • Educate clients and caregivers on at-home exercise programs and strategies to maintain progress.

Responsibilities

  • Perform new-patient evaluations/exams
  • Diagnose patients; evaluate physical activity limitations
  • Create a plan that sets a goal and completion date

  • Examine and evaluate new patients

Skills & Qualifications

  • Passion for working with vestibular, balance, neurological, or fall-risk patient population
  • Prefer at least one year working in outpatient neurological or orthopedic center, or a previous vestibular rehab experience
