Why You’ll Love This Job

Healthcare Sales Representative for Physical Therapy (Physician Liaison)

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers of Oklahoma City is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Healthcare Sales Representative for Physical Therapy (Physician Liaison) to help expand physician partnerships and grow patient access to exceptional care throughout the Oklahoma City metro.

This is an outside sales and business development role focused on building trusted relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, case managers, employers, and healthcare professionals who refer patients for physical therapy. Rather than selling a product, you will represent a respected healthcare organization that helps people recover from injury, reduce pain, improve balance, and return to the activities they love.

As the face of FYZICAL in the community, you will develop and manage a physician referral territory by visiting medical offices, identifying new referral opportunities, strengthening existing partnerships, and serving as a trusted resource for healthcare providers and their staff. Success comes from consistently building genuine relationships, understanding referral needs, following through on commitments, and representing our clinic with professionalism and integrity.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, relationship-building, healthcare sales, physician outreach, business development, and creating long-term partnerships. Previous experience in medical sales, pharmaceutical sales, home health, hospice, healthcare marketing, physician relations, or other business development roles is valued, but we also welcome highly motivated sales professionals who are excited to build a career in healthcare.

If you enjoy autonomy, meeting new people, making a meaningful impact in your community, and helping connect patients with life-changing physical therapy services, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, case managers, employers, and healthcare professionals throughout an assigned Oklahoma City territory.
  • Increase patient referrals by identifying new referral opportunities while strengthening existing provider relationships.
  • Conduct regular in-person physician office visits to educate providers and staff about FYZICAL’s specialty physical therapy services.
  • Develop strategic business development plans to grow referral volume within assigned accounts.
  • Analyze referral trends and territory performance to identify growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate marketing initiatives, educational events, lunch-and-learns, community outreach, and networking opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of provider interactions, referral activity, and territory performance using CRM and tracking systems.
  • Collaborate closely with clinic leadership and clinicians to ensure exceptional communication with referring providers.
  • Represent FYZICAL at community events, healthcare networking opportunities, and professional organizations.
  • Build partnerships with employers, community organizations, athletic organizations, and healthcare groups.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for referring offices by providing timely follow-up, education, and exceptional customer service.
  • Consistently represent the FYZICAL brand with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to outstanding patient care.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent professional experience in sales, business development, physician relations, marketing, customer success, or account management may be substituted for formal education.
  • Experience building relationships with healthcare providers, physicians, medical offices, or business clients is preferred.
  • Previous experience in healthcare sales, pharmaceutical sales, medical device sales, home health, hospice, physical therapy, physician outreach, or other relationship-based sales is a plus.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Comfortable working independently while managing an assigned territory.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build long-term professional relationships.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning CRM and reporting software.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Why You’ll Love Working at FYZICAL

  • Monday-Friday schedule
  • No overnight travel
  • Local Oklahoma City territory
